1903 Unofficial
Back to the original idea

1903 Unofficial puts friendship back at the center of the club day.

It started with a simple instinct: make it easier to know who wants to play, who is already around, and who is sticking around after the round. 1903 Unofficial turns that feeling into a cleaner, lighter member experience.

Built for the rounds, pool hangs, and last-minute games that make the club feel alive.
Why the name fits

1903 Unofficial is a quiet return to the reason the club existed in the first place.

When Foss, Adair, Dawson, and the other early founders gathered in 1903 to establish what became the Wooster Golf Club, the idea was simple: create a place where people could spend time together, play a round, share conversation, and naturally run into friends at the end of the day.

This app is built in that same spirit.

It is not meant to compete with the club experience or pull attention away from it. The goal is simply to make the social rhythm of the club easier to see and easier to join. A quick glance should tell you who is around, whether a game is forming, or where friends have gathered.

That is the purpose behind 1903 Unofficial: preserving the part of club life people already value most.

What changes

Less coordination overhead, more actual hanging out at the course and pool

See who's around

Know who is on property, heading to the range, or already on the course without chasing three different text threads.

Find a game faster

Use quick check-ins and the live feed to pull together an easy nine, fill out a group, or join friends already out there.

Keep it personal

Visibility and notifications stay centered on your friends, so the experience feels clubby and human instead of public and noisy.

Stay in the day

Service tools are there when you need them, but the real point is keeping the golf-and-friends part of the experience easy.

A lighter philosophy

The app should help the club feel smaller, warmer, and easier to step into.

1903 Unofficial is built around a simple standard: if a feature gets in the way of meeting up, catching a round, or joining the poolside hang, it is the wrong feature. The product follows the social life of the club, not the other way around.

What members get

Useful tools that still leave room for the day to feel natural

Check-In Quick

Check in to the course, range, bar, or pool and give your friends a clear signal that you are around.

Live Feed Real time

See the live picture of the club without asking five people where everybody ended up.

Friends Private

Choose who sees you and whose updates matter to you so the app stays social in the right way.

Rounds Easy

Start a round, join one already forming, and keep the planning simple enough to happen on the fly.

Status Low-key

Post a quick vibe, note where you are headed next, or let friends know you are headed to the pool after the round.

Profiles Familiar

Keep the small details that make it easier to recognize people, remember preferences, and make introductions.

Beverage Cart Optional

Request the cart when you want it, track the status clearly, and get back to golf. The service layer is there to support the day, not take over the story.

How it works

Easy enough to use between holes, useful enough to keep open from tee time to pool time
